Hampi-Kerala-Goa. I took a night train from Hampi to Mysore without too much thought where I would go after Mysore, had a general plan to go further South to Kerala. When in Mysore I found out that if I wanted to take a train to Kerala I would have to backtrack and go to Bangalore first, then transfer to a train from there. That is what I decided to do. After 3 days in Mysore I got on a late morning commuter train to Bangalore to connect with a train to Kochi, a large port city in the state Kerala and spent a few days exploring.
I then took yet another overnight train back to Goa and stayed on Manderem beach during Christmas. These were very nice days, rented a motorbike and rode up and down the coast. Woke up early for morning yoga sessions and runs on the beach and laying in the sun. While in Mysore I decided to diversify/complicate my travel plans and go to Greece for a few weeks after Christmas.
On the 27th I flew to Athens, Greece from Mumbai.
