A good friend offered me a last minute ticket to the Burning Man festival and a early entry pass. I attended the festival back in 1998 when it was quite a bit smaller and was happy to go back and re experience this incredible place. I arrived a couple days before the festival officially began. It was nice to get there early and beat the traffic and watch the city quickly grow. I was also lucky to be able to join a great camp from Colorado. Most mornings I got up very early and rode out into the playa to listen to the DJ's play their sunrise sets. During the day I explored the endless art installations and events held at theme camps. I also set up my massage table under our shade structure and offered bodywork to anyone who was interested. For me this was a very nice way to contribute to the Burning Man community. It was an incredible week. I had so much fun and connected with many old and new friends. I'm really glad I was able to be a part of BM this year!
